I am possibly going to purchase my first Macintosh later today.

Going for the Mac Pro.

I own the Logitech diNovo bluetooth keyboard and mouse.
It's there top-of-the-line combo that costs over $200. So
you can imagine why I want to keep using it.

Logitech does not offer software for that combo for MAC.

I am wondering if I can still use that diNovo keyboard with
Macintosh bluetooth technology. Will it synch to their bluetooth
if there is no software for that keyboard?

Also, do Windows keyboards work fine with Mac?

I, myself, just ordered a diNovo set for 80-ish bucks. I really hope it works to some degree - in general, hardwire like this doesn't require explicit macintosh compatibility to work with mac, but in the case of the diNovo, as with some of the other more complicated keyboards, advanced keys won't work without special programming - just the normal keys, the volume buttons, etc will work fully 100% fine for sure. I've heard that the little extra calculator/keypad however doesn't work at all with macintosh. Bummer.

The one I have only works to a degree.

All the basic functions work on the keyboard, but the media
pad is useless.

I ended up buying the Logitech s530 wireless combo for mac
and I really like it. Much better to have the proper function
keys (Command key in particular) as well as hot buttons to
launch favorite programs and an EJECT button for the CD/DVD player.
