OK so I did 2 things first used safari enhancer just to see what it was all about. it was nothing special so I restored default settings and deleted it. Then I installed Security Update 2005-007 and now Shapeshifter will not theme either Safari or the Finder. All my other apps are themed correctly. I'm doubting it had anthing to do with Safari Enhancer as that shouldn't have affected Finder. Just trying to find out if it has happened to anybody else or if it is just my machine.

Thanks

I did. 6 times now. I've tried restarting and logging out. Switching to default aqua then logging out/restarting then reapplying. Switching to random theme. and so on. I guess I will now try reinstalling shapeshifter.

Most of the times, just clearing SS's cache and restarting will do it...
