I don't see the irony. Can anyone clarify what I'm meant to be seeing here?

Personally I find it hilarious that you have the hots for my gramma. Especially seeins how she is 3x your age, and makes your Brittney-Spears-wannabe 30-something wife look like a rag doll who went thru WWIII with a burning stick of dynamite up her a** :)

The thing that really p*ssed people off is that even though all the different versions of Vista cost more, each DVD had all of the versions on it - full and upgrade.

You could buy the Vista Basic Upgrade DVD ($90) and install the full Vista Ultimate ($400). They are all the same DVD - just different packaging.

That's pretty damn funny.

And what's this about Vista? What do you mean all the versions come from the same DVD? How's that work? I mean, how are you prevented from paying for Basic and installing Ultimate?

I think that this is going to throw a little confusion into the mill here. As in past versions, there won't be a Basic, Home, Pro or Ultimate, just Mac OS X. And people who've read this might not quite understand...

It's all based on what serial you enter. If you enter an Ultimate serial, you get Ultimate. Basic serial == Basic Vista.

Back to the OP, it is funny, but not ironic. There's a difference

Meanwhile, the unused junk continues to clutter up your system.

Yet another reason I'm glad I dumped Windoze back in 2004.
