Webcam snapshot software for iSight?

I know there are many options out there for making a webcam but every one I have found takes control of the iSight so you cannot use it in iChat. I've been playing with Evocam but once Evocam is running you can no longer use the iSight for iChat. Does anyone know of an app that will only try to use the iSight when it wants to take a snapshot?
For example, iChat lets go of the iSight when not being used. Another application then has access to the camera to use it is needed. If the other app is using the iSight and iChat wants it, iChat gracefully will not let you use it.
Any ideas?

It's called Shift-Command-4. 
Just take a selection picture from the iChat preferences. Not with space bar pressed (for taking window shots), as it won't capture the image (something to do with QuickTime and the way it displays). Just do a selection shot and you'll be good.

That's fine, but i was hoping to have something I could setup a schedule for. So I can have a shot taken every X minutes.

Snapz Pro X. It should let you take times shots I believe. Moki would know best.

I'm not sure. I know you can capture video screens with it. You can set it to do timed captures I believe. Ask Moki he would know best.

You'd just have to do a screenshot then. All webcam software out there is designed to be webcam software that deals with the camera specifically, so inevitably it is going to take over the camera. Luckily with the advent of iChat AV, it looks like this issue will be relatively common and somebody will cook up a good way to get around it. Screenshots seem like the best (but incredibly meticulous) option at the moment, or just turn off your webcam software when you are in a video chat.

I think he was looking for something that could take screenshots of his video screens in iChat at timed intervals.

Exactly.
Think of it like a VCR. You program your VCR to tape a show every day from 12:00-13:00. When you are not there the show gets taped. Even though your VCR is programmed you can still use it to watch other channels or other tapes. At 12:00 the VCR will want to start taping your show. If you are using the VCR your program will not get taped.
That is what I want. I want an app that will just sit and do nothing most of the time. Every X minutes it should attempt to take a picture with the iSight. If the iSight is in use then the app will do nothing. If the iSight is free it will take it's shot.
