okay, I have this odd problem w/ bit torrent clients regardless if transmission, bits on wheels, azureus, or the original bit torrent client.

every so often when any of these clients is running I'm getting airport dropouts and the mouse behaves erratically. airport then completely looses the signal and the only cure for the mess is a restart.

I didn't have the problem w/ my previous G5 iMac. I'm using OS X 10.4.4. any info/help/input is much appreciated.

thanks for the reply. what do you mean w/ changing the channel? I don't use apple's aiport stations but a belkin wifi router. router config says it broadcasts on channel 11.

???

is it the latest firmware for the router? is it the latest firmware for the airport [use software update] ?

maybe try channel 1 instead of 11.
