I have just purchased an iPod nano PRODUCT(red) edition 4GB, and would like to know a good, nice looking iPod nano hard case(2nd gen)
I want one thats not too thick, and not too bulgy, but can avoid LCD crackings if dropped lightly.

Well. I saw a kid with the coolest iPod case ever. It looked like a mirror with a click wheel until he made the screen light on, which showed through. It was the neatest thing, and it's probably so people can't see what you're listening to. I don't know the company, but maybe someone does. The kid also had a video ipod, but they must make it for he nano too.

I've used the Agent 18 since I got my Nano, and I love it. I've dropped it on tile and on rough cement (both from a height of about 3 - 4 ft), and it has no cracks or scratches. Its completely clear and not bulky or bulgy. Not sure if they make it for 2nd gen Nano, but worth looking into, IMO.
That mirror case sounds cool, but I bet it scratches easily.

The absolute best case I have EVER used:
iSkin Claro
The iSkin Claro. It has a 0.5mm silicone cover for your iPod which is then plased in the scratch resistant polycarbonate case. Click wheel is protected via the silicone cover. I love this case...
Oops, didn't see you needed one for a Nano.
iSkin for second generation iPod nano
Haven't used this one personally...

I've got an Online Store case I bought at the Apple Store, pretty happy with it- clear/sturdy.

I personally like the agent18, but no experience. Extrememac also makes a few nice cases.....

On Tuesday, I saw a lady walking on my way to work, and she dropped her iPod and it looked like she had an Agent 18. The iPod popped out, but looked unharmed.

Yeah, that's what's happened to mine a couple times. The iPod pops out, but its completely unharmed (and even unscratched). The Agent 18 case is also unharmed and unscratched. Its very durable, and it looks good. (Its not perfect, but its my favorite case, and the one I use the most.)

the mirror case I think you're talking about is the Reflect case made by Griffin. They sell 'em at the Apple Stores, and other places I'm sure. i think they look pretty neat, although I don't know what how the mirror finish holds up when they're dropped or anything.
