There used to be a favicon that Safari used for RSS URLs (feed://...) that was different than the default favicon: a blue globe. It was a grey rectangle.

Now after updating to 10.4.11 and the Safari that comes with it, I no longer see a different looking favicon for feed URLs.

I got used to seeing this icon in my URL bookmarks and its absence is visually disturbing.

Normal web urls that have favicons are shown as usual and my bookmark view is updated to see the right favicon.

Am I unique in this? Does anyone else notice it.

As annoyances go, this is pretty minor, but it nonetheless is bothering me no end.

Upgrading to Safari 3 got rid of all my favorites icons (I guess thats why you call them favicons), but they returned after viewing those pages.
