I've looked at all the preference settings and I can't find a way to disable Java/HTML in Outlook Express. Can someone enlighten me on how to do it? Thanks in advance.

i no longer use Outlook Express (moved to Entourage) but I think I remember the Java switch being under the Java tab in preferences. It says something like 'Enable java' or close to that, with a check box next to it..

In Entourage go to "Edit > Preferences > Mail & News Preferences" and click on the "Read" tab. At the bottom their is a set of HTML options. You can turn off HTML for email messages, but I'm not sure if that includeds Java as well. My guess is that it would.
