I bought a DVI-D to HDMI cable and everything works fine visually.
I am not getting any sound, I need to know what cables I need to get the sound to come out of my T.V instead of my laptop.
Thank you.

If Apple were smart, they'd include an audio jack with the DVI-D to HDMI adapter. HDMI handles audio as well as video, and most HDMI destinations expect to get their audio that way.

Which machine? As far as I know, the DVI interface doesn't support audio out.

What HDMI-compatible audio output do you suggest is standard on most DVI equipped Macs?
