I thought I'd join in on the theme fest.
I just uploaded Rhapsodized 1.4 for you.

These are the changes:
 Updated for Panther.
 Added all Panther specific elements.
Went trough and updated existing elements.
Renamed the variations to Azul, Lime, Poppy and Silver.
Remade the colors of the Lime, Poppy and Silver variations.
Updated Safari skins and bundled them as appskins.
Added appskins for iTunes, iChat and Address Book.
 Added customized labels.
 Added customized Font Panel buttons.
Added Lime, Poppy and Silver icons.
 Added new desktop pictures.
Removed the Light variations. I never liked them, but they may return in the future..

Love it, but I miss the light variation.

IMHO, the most usable theme out there. It's great to have iTunes, iChat, and Safari themed too. Finally, everything matches.

This is astounding. The new features of ShapeShifter 1.2 have provided everything I could ever want from a theme. The appskin feature blows my mind.

ShapeShifter is definitely the best $20 I've ever spent.

And this theme rocks my socks too, although I'd also like to put a vote in for the light variation. Thanks Max! Can't wait to see Mercury.

Wow, I've never really tried Rhapsodized before, but this theme is just too awesome. Its one of the few very usable themes out there. Nice work as always .

Hi Max,

Nice stuff! I have a "dumb" question, though. It's about the iTunes and SS 1.2 add ins. I see the buttons have changed to match Rhapsodized, but is the brushed window supposed to be altered, too? I was using the NEOS skin originally and that was nice, but a little too dark. Do you have a way to Rhapsodize the whole window?

TIA

Sweet!
Though, the only complaint I have is that all of the variations are jammed into one file. This makes for a rather large download. Im on dial-up, Im sure there are others out there who are too. It would be nice to just download the ones I want, then the rest later

Wow, thanks for all the positive feedback..

I'll answer some questions..

I removed the Light variations because they were never part of my original design, and I really think the theme has the perfect shade already.

The iTunes skin has to have the same brushed background, because it's not possible to make it any brighter. I have pled to Jason that he should look into patching iTunes and QuickTime somehow.

I noticed the theme got rather big, but I didn't want to split it up.

And according to the porting list, Classic Platinum is next, and BBX Mercury X after that. I might update them at the same time though.
QNX wasn't in the poll and I haven't talked to James Meister about that.

But first I'll stick in some theme updates of Aluminum Alloy and EYLO.

I actually liked the light variations. Not a big fan of the grey/brushed look... what i liked is the clean window edges and widget shapes, so the light-graphite one gave me that without the color change really. Bring them back

1. Splitting it up would be a pain to download. Argh.
2. Will EYLO be downloadable on your site now that it's not bundled with Shapeshifter? It was not in the Shapeshifter 1.2 package, only Swiz's latest skin.
3. I'm looking forward to Classic Platinum.
4. A full iconset for Rhapsodized would be great.

I've kinda missed this one as an option, even though I've never really used it much (don't know why). Thanks for updating it

Damn! I saw this threead "Ann: Rhapsodized Reeased!" and I started drooling. Why, for the love of God, why did you have to reply to THIS thread? Hahaha, I'm sure alot of others will get all excited too.

Check out http://funmac.com/showthread.php?t=10883 which one thread in Max's forum. It's asking the same question and has Max's answer.

You can count me in, cgc.
I'm using Rhapsodized as we speak, and all I can say : it's very usable, clean and as close to perfection as they come IMHO. I haven't encountered any bug so far - what a great job, Max

So... What happened to the smooth, non-brushed version of this theme? It looked so hot as an update to the old OS look.

best theme ever!!!

it would be nice to push it in a more graphic direction...like SHADED( windows | http://www.customize.org/view/35619) or 8270( windows | http://www.customize.org/view/34340) for example.

Hell yeah!!! Shaded is such an amazing skin

I've been bugging Mac15 (who did Kamino, Azure, Ashen) to port Shaded to OS X, but without much success

[OffTopicRant]

I wish people would stop using the term 'minimalistic'. The word is 'minimalist'.

Don't misunderestimate the abilitivity of this kind of behaviourism to aggravationate me.

[/OffTopicRant]

That Shaded theme is, however, excellent.

Not really.. I haven't done any theming at all lately, been to busy with the new job and on the sparetime I have been taking it easy.
I'll see if I can get some work done on this though.
