Core2 MBP, latest OSX, latest BC (1.1.2). in winxp my external 23" cinema display looks terrible as an extended desktop monitor. no artifacts, just incredibly washed out. almost looks as if there is a hazy film evenly spread across the whole screen. have downloaded ACD drivers as well. very little help, if any (altho the other tools in there are helpful, such as power/brightness button control in winxp).

no combo of brightness or contrast or gamma in the ATI control panels seems to make it look really good. this is with or without WinACD drivers installed.

i did not notice this problem when running parallels.

everything else is working great! please let me know if yours is working fine, or if you know of a fix. TIA!

Sounds like the same thing that early G4 mini owners reported. . .

interesting, since the graphics cards are so different. was there a resolution for the mini owners? firmware or something? i guess Boot Camp is still beta, so we'll see.
