after seeing how the numlock key works on this keyboard (lit from undeneath through the text) i decided to see if the whole keyboard was like this. i took a bright flashlight and shined it unde the keys and, sure enough, all of them have transparent letters. i knew it had the same keyboard as the 17", but didnt know it had the same keys. this might make it easier for someone to wire in some lights, no? even if it wouldnt be possible, at least the lettering wont wear off any time soon.
oh, and sorry if this has been posted before.

sure you could put an led in there... but where are you going to put the sensor that tells the led to come on when it's dark?

All you really need is a switch. Now where are we going to put a switch. I dont have my 12" yet so I can't answer this.

I don't want a sensor, just a little knob or slide to adjust brightness. If you make it, I'll buy it!
