I was thinking about another kind of thing, e.g. people buying 2.5 Dual G5 with a super expensive GPU for the sole purpose of be able to game DoomIII. I thought the main purpose of computers was help you with get some kind of work done.

Fair point, but still, doesnt compare to killing someone for a weapon that A, doesnt really exist, and.. B, you paid for!
