Aimed at US residents, duh.
Mine was $2.25 last I remember, but I've been seeing people mention it under $2 and even $1.50 for almost a month now.

A few weeks ago it hit 1.68 right near my apartment. Then it got super cold and shot over 2.00 in a matter of days.

Lowest I've seen locally is 2.12 (cash price) but I know somewhere in MA there was 1.99, it was on the news.

I'm in northeast PA and there's a refinery within an hour of my house so I'm perturbed about it not breaking $2

$1.63 was the lowest I've seen it in the St. Louis area.
It's fluctuating like crazy though. It goes through this cycle where it starts at $1.99 then slowly creeps down to the $1.70 range then all of a sudden it just jumps back up to $1.99 and starts over. This seems to be happening over and over again for the past few months and take about 10 days.
What's annoying is my timing is totally off. I never seem to hit the super cheap gas. Every time I need to fill up, it's always on the uptick. I'll drive to work almost on empty... gas will be $1.74... and then on my way home it will be $1.99. It's seriously happened to me like 4 times now.
The worse was one day, about 3-4 months ago, I drove my kids to the park and stopped for gas. At the time it was about $3.50. I filled up, went to the park for an hour and a half and on my drive home, at the exact same station, 1.5 hours later, gas had dropped .35ยข a gallon.

$2.00 9/10 at most of Northern Virginia's stations not immediately adjacent to the beltway.

$1.90-$2.03 or so depending on the location, Mobil always being the highest and Hess the lowest.
I drive a GMC work van almost exclusively. Filling the tank has gone from $90+ to $50 about every week or so.

Indeed. STL is about $1.78 today for regular. But like the weather around here that can change significantly within hours.

And it used to be a steady $3.79 to $3.99 all of this past summer.

About six months ago in the uk it was ยฃ1.34 a litte it's slowly dropped and around our way it's usually about ยฃ1.4 now. The garage next to here dipped to .99 for a while but it's crept back to ยฃ1.01 now. Most news seems to think it will drop lore, to around .90 for a while.
Not sure how sustainable this is. Russia needs more money.

A couple of weeks ago, it had gotten down to $1.65 or so around here. Then, it jumped back up to about $2.30. Now, it's hovering right around the $2.00 mark, give or take. It seems to change daily here.

Had to run an errand this morning and saw that it's now up to $2.29 here.
The funny thing is, if I drive 40 miles down the interstate, it will be 10ยข cheaper. Same brand, too.

It hit $1.72 here last week.
Great news for a lot of us, but the oil and gas industry is reeling.

Chicago average for regular is now about $2.40, so a pretty quick spike.

We've gone from most of the winter in the low $2.20 or so, and today it's crawled back up to $2.40-2.55.

Yeah supposedly speculators are buying and storing oil, artificially driving up the price.

Same here. We actually had it below $2 at times over the winter.
Speculators hording goods should be shot, then hung. Then we get medieval on them.

Living in CA here. Gas prices have gone up quite a bit recently. Now about $3.45 for the cheap stuff. I use Sam's Club and I last filled up two days ago at $3.20/gallon. I had just filled up and was at the hot dog area eating a muffin and saw the guy change the sign to $3.25/gallon. I was happy that I just made it.

Summer fuel blends are back in circulation, it runs 10-15% more than winter. If you run 100% gas (uncommon), no ethanol, prices stay pretty steady.
