Anyone have experience with DVD-RAMs. The G4 that I bought has one and it won't read any DVD-RAM disks. It keeps giving me a notifier that there may be some thing wrong with the disk. I have tried three of them, two different brands, all Type 1. I checked the documentation and it says that Type-1's are ok. It loads CDs and DVD movies ok. Any ideas?
MAC G4 (AGP) 9.0.4, 384Meg RAM

TIA, Bill

1) Have the disks been initialized before being used?
2) Do you have the Apple CD/DVD extension in the extensions folder?
3) If the answer to the first 2 items are "yes", then simply bring back the unit to where you bought it. The drive may simply be defective. It should be still under warranty.
