I am looking at getting one of the new MBP with the C2D and I was wondering if aperture ran alright on 2GB of ram or if I should opt for the 3GB of ram option. I have a 1.67 Ghz G4 now with a Gig in it and aperture seems to eat that up. Also, does aperture really run that much faster on the new intel machines or not?

Thanks

FWIW, Aperture runs pretty darned well on a 2GHz MacBook with 2GB RAM. (And that machine doesn't even have a good graphics card like the MBP -- that should make it run even better.)
