I've been looking for a bookshelf like the one in the picture. I've seen one on the Real World, and while browsing a couple of people's computer setups. Just wondering what they're called and if anybody knows where to buy one.

Cheers!

Ricky

I don't know what they're called, but man do they look awesome. I love that clean, modern look. I wish I could do something like that in my apartment. To bad I have school, rent, and food to pay for.

Try <a href="http://www.dwr.com/productdetail.cfm?id=1095&fp=sc" target="_blank">this</a> shelf from Design Within Reach (dwr). They have quite a bit of nice furniture, but most of it is in the same price bracket at the aeron chairs <img border="0" alt="[Hmmm]" title="" src="graemlins/hmmm.gif" /> .

Wow, I didn't expect them to cost around $400. Thanks for the link.

What about that clock on the wall? It looks like it's being projected onto the wall. Anyone know where to find one of those? Now THAT is cool!

There are also digital type projection clocks available, like <a href="http://www2.oregonscientific.com/exactset/bar338pa.html" target="_blank">this one</a> from Oregon Scientific.

I think there a 'Designery' bit of furniture, a lot like the aeron chairs et al. I have seen one in a Designer Furniture shop, the 'Bookend' bits are fixed to the shelf & contain the wall fastenings.

I am not certain, but I think that bookshelf is from IKEA. Ikea is a Real World Sponsor and almost all of their furniture comes from Ikea. If Ikea does have it, it will no doubt be a fraction of $400!

Good Luck!

Those are so cool. I have seen them on TV from time to time, and keep thinking I want one, but always forget. What the heck, might as well get one while I'm thinking about it!

Off to order one...
