I have a U2 SE ipod, and its been working great for me. i recently bought this case that works great protecting the ipod from outside stuff, and the armband that comes with it is wonderful for runs. The plastic covering ,though, has been scartching my ipod from the inside. The places around the click wheel has a circular mark that wont go away, and the back corners are starting to turn chrome (the back is black). Im wondering if apple would be able to somehow fix it ,or even better, send me a new one. Im not sure if i have an apple protection care plan, i bought the ipod during the summer. If any one has help or ideas let me know.

You are an effing moron. You expect Apple to repair a purely cosmetic, self-inflicted issue? I have heard some stupid questions in here but man you and your overprivileged attitude takes the cake.

sheez.... talk about getting hit by an eighteen-wheeler driven by MichiganRich......
No, Apple will not change the iPod for cosmetic reasons. The one year warranty will cover the iPod only if it can be shown that the damages were not inflicted by the user and the product is non-operational like a defective hard drive or something....
You'd probably have to get a Decalgirl body wrap to cover your scratches now. Yeah, it won't be the same as having the black and red U2 iPod but at least you'll have a cool design for your iPod.
DecalGirl
oh, there's also a few other companies making iPod skins, or tatoos, or bodywrap. Decalgirl was the first one that popped in my head. You can google for ipod skin tatoo body wrap and you'll find a bunch of hits....
It's pretty much time to get rid of that case and look for a better case. I usually try to look for a case that has a soft inside lining or rubber lining inside.
Sorry, but your chances of getting a brand new replacement is a pipe dream at best....
