Try it with the original speakers without the soundsticks

this is just down to crappy SoundStick drivers. Transfering anything over airport has the same effect. have to unplug and then plug them back in again to get them working, and this sometimes crashes the loginserver

I free'd my mind... now it won't come back.

This is REALLY annoying! It has only been introduced since 10.2.5 as far as I can tell. Anyone found a fix?

How did it come to this? Goodbye PowerPC. | sensory output

The crackling and crashing problem has been there since the release of OS X I think, sure its been there since DP4, but the crashing of the loginserver is new, not sure when, 10.2.5 sounds right. Havent heard of any fixes.
