i cant seem to connect my pb, 1.5 ghz, to my college wireless internet, i know bout windows networking, but nothing bout mac networks, etc, i can join any hot spot or wireless networks on starbucks and at home. What do i need to ask to the guy that deals with this in my college? what do i need to know ? so i can set it up there.

What have you tried already, and how can you tell it isn't working? (can't access web pages, error messages, ...)

it does says im connected to a wireless network, but i open safari and nothing happens, i think it cannot authenticate.

I had the same problem when trying to connect to my school network, the signal was being recieved, but i could not get on the net. i had to talk to the network admin so they could give me an ip address and give me all the school network deatails, like proxy settings and router settings etc. try contacting your network admin at college
