Having always taken interest in psychology, I was on the look for a journal that I could read every now and then. Something a little more scientific than psychologytoday.com but not impossible to understand.

Anyone ?

It really depends what you're interested in - a good place to look is ScienceDirect; they list (as I recall) close to a hundred journals covering psychological topics; I'm on the email list for about 20 of them (as in, they send me a list of articles each month).

Personally, I'm an experimentalist with a focus in visual attention, so most of what I read in the field is on vision.

Don't try to outweird me, I get stranger things than you free with my breakfast cereal.

SAGE has free access to all their journals until the end of November.
They have a few that deal with psychology.
You could check those out.

I'd suggest Current Directions in Psychological Science, for digestible articles on everything; or Psychological Science in the Public Interest, for stuff with social/policy implications (and I think free). Also maybe American Psychologist or Psychological Science, the two primary journals of the two leading organizations. American Psychologist has a lot more inside-organizational stuff than you'd probably want though.

You could also follow one of the blogs about psychology that discusses upcoming or recent journal articles, like Cognitive Daily.

Another place to look for more info would be a podcast on the subject.
