Hi,

We have a newish iPod mini to sell and would like to make sure that the buyer gets the advantage of the remaining Apple warranty.

How would this be accomplished?

Would we give them a copy of the sales receipt (which has our name and address on it)?
Or is there some online registration transfer site?

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I can't figure it out and I assume that a buyer would want to have the benefits of the warranty if possible...

You can give the buyer the sales recipt which will definatly help. Also once the new owner has the unit they can go to http://www.apple.com/register and fill out the registration for an iPod.
