I just saw a great deal on a Wintel Radeon PCI card at Office Depot - $80 for 32MB DDR Radeon (after a mail in rebate of about $40, so it's still only $120!) .
Will this card work in a Mac? Has anyone else done it? My specific Mac is a beige G3 333 minitower, but I'm sure either it would work on any Mac or no Macs.

No, the Windows version of the Radeon card won't work in a Mac. They have completely different ROMs and I haven't come across a utility that would make a user able to flash the ROM from PC to Mac.

I agree. It will not work on any mac. Unless you have some way to replace the PC ROM w/ Mac ROM it wont work. It is great deal though. You can get a Mac Radeon PCI for $170 from some resellers. Give that a try.

These ROMs have something to do about how the board processes information. "Big-endian" and "little-endian" for short.
