It's clearly a MacNN site (click "iPod News" tab on the main macnn page), so shouldn't the page design be similar?

What I was asking was if the page was new, and if that was the new theme for the upcoming MacNN redesign.

The new design is not going to look like iPodNN. In fact, iPodNN is not going to look like it does for very long. All three 'nn sites + the forums will take on a new theme that should be a welcome change. For anyone who liked effgee's original mockups: you will love the final version.

As for iPodNN: yes, this is fairly new. We're building up a steady news flow that should make it the best place for iPod news. The site is targeted at current MacNN readers, but is also meant for iPod enthusiasts from all platforms.

MY only complaint is that when I'm reading the RSS version of MacNN, I click on a story and it takes me to the MacNN story, I click on what should be the article and I'm sent to iPodNN, and have to click *yet again* to go to what is *hopefully* the actual story/review/whatever, but is sometimes another source that is *referencing* the actual story/review/whatever. I'm all for credit-where-credit-is-due, but it does make me feel like I'm jumping through hoops a bit.

Then again, I may just be grumpy today.
