I just bought 8 gb for 1000 good deal?

Yea, $250 for a 2GB FB-DIMM is a good deal.

Yeah its a great deal considering that one 2 GB stick is $304 new (and thats the lowest on the web!)

It is a great deal. Are you certain that it is compatible? Does it use the required heat sinks?

Yes it is currently in my system now very happy so far with it been running all weekend what tools cn i use to put it through it's paces? I just did some major stuff in paperture and photoshop converting some raw images batch style and a lot of rendering I know there are tools out there that can help benchmark or burn in system just not sure what they are called.
