Is there any online store (other than Applestore, which only accepts U.S. credit cards) that sells the 12" with the 80gb harddrive?

Thanks in advance!

I'm sure all of their authorized resellers do...

Actually, if it is a BTO only option than typically most resellers won't sell it. I believe smalldog was one of the few that is able to do bto type options. When I got my 867 12" with the optional BTO 60gb HD I ended up ordering direct from apple as they were the only ones with the bto and an educational discount. You might have luck at an apple store also, but most resellers will not sell BTO optioned books.

Good luck!

I asked for an 80 gig 12" at the Pasadena store, and they only carried 40 gig ones

I think mail order through apple is your only option

www.smalldog.com do. I think they BTO them from Apple themselves, but at least most people will be able to get out of sales tax that way. I'm not sure if they accept non-US credit cards, though. Worth a go - they seem nice to deal with.

Try powermax.com as well. They say they can configure systems, although I'm not sure exactly what that means. It may mean they do upgrades themselves. But it's worth a look.

I'd go with www.powermax.com

They'll stand behind whatever they do and give you the best deal possible. Believe me, they don't make much on the new machines, but they do enjoy their work and take pride in amking sure you get what you are looking for.
