Nice find!
An ipod wouldn't really matter to enjoying this app.... just having music in itunes.

That is actually *exactly* the functionality I want on an ipod - the only justification for the color screen *to me*, as I'm not into photography.
I want to be able to search through by cover.

what exactly does any of this have to do with an iPod? The application is made to use with Tiger and iTunes.

Impressive, and very responsive (surprisingly). I've also never run my collection through Synergy or anything and it found for practically every album. Seems to flicker a bit, but other than that, very nice.

The application is impressive, but it has nothing to do with the iPod. What made me want an iPod was something even more impressive I found while surfing around on that site a little bit more (don't do it when you're at work).
As for the app itself: I'm not sure whether iTunes visualizers get mouse clicks, but I believe they do. So if he can turn this into a visualizer plug-in then it would be very cool way to select albums. Don't misunderstand me, I don't want this to interact with the music in any way. Just let it run within iTunes as an alternative view in addition to list view. That might be possible for a visualizer plug-in.

This is one of the prettiest presentations of album art I've seen for sure. Does a really good job even considering the ragged low-quality of a lot of my album art. Smooth on my PowerBook too.

Wow. That is unbelievably cool.
It would be nice if the artwork were presented in a jewel case image as seen in this Dashboard widget. So it would be like shuffling through a virtual CD collection.

i much prefer it without those horrible jewel cases. One reason I've always preferred vinyl.

I've just discovered this app - it's just amazing. This should be how iTunes works : I definitely browse my music with much more ease and pleasure with this soft than in iTune's checkbook-like interface.
Anyone knows if this could be coded as a plug-in for iTunes? If only Apple could build this directly into v5!

I'm really looking foward to future developments of this app. It seems like the flickering only happens once I envoke Dashboard on 10.4.2, otherwise a well designed and beautifully simple piece of software... Keep it up ey?
