Does anyone have a 512MB module in their new iBook? I just bought one from memorytogo.com and while I haven't recieved my iBook CD-RW yet, I have heard that they cause the keyboard to bulge when the airport card is also installed.
Is this true? I've tried several forums but nobody even pretends to care...poor me and my 512MB, right? If you have had success with this, please let me know.
Thanks!

I just got my 256ram from memorytogo today, and it works perfectly. As for the keyboard bulging out, it doesn't for me, and I have the airport card installed as well. Good luck, post when you install everything.

Just received my combo iceBook today and placed a 256MB chip (from MemoryToGo) and AirPort card. After placing the keyboard back in place I noticed a slight bulge in the center of the keyboard (magnetic latch appeared to not be engaging). Reseated the AirPort card and latch and now everything is fine. I don't think the ram will be a problem. Just make sure the AirPort card latch is engaged, the antennae wire is flat, and the magnetic latch for the keyboard is seated down. Hope this helps. Enjoy your new jewel!

Also when reattaching the keyboard be sure that it is perfectly straight... as this can also cause uneveness. It took me a couple of tries to get it back on correctly. By the way how much did the 512 stick set you back?

The 512 set him back about $250.
