Hi everyone,

Since Adobe Streamline is not yet OS X compatible (and who knows if it will ever be) and since we don't run Classic in our environment, are there any programs that do what Streamline does in an OS X environment?

If there is not, is there any word on whether or not Adobe will release an OS X version of Streamline?

Thanks!

if I remember correctly, I believe LoopRumors mentioned a while back that Streamline for OS X was due later this year...

edit - this is what they said:

Adobe has not released an upgrade to its tracing / vectorizing application in nearly three years. Designers and those who rely heavily on vectorizing a photograph or scanned line art are forced to do so in Classic or use a very limited program called Silhouette. That's about to change. Sources have revealed that Streamline 5.0 for OS X is well under development and should be ripe for release in mid-June. Tighter integration with Illustrator is said to be the number one focus. Enhancements have been made to improve performance and tracing accuracy. The tool bar will adopt more advanced editing tools seen in Illustrator 10. There was some speculation about Streamline being rolled into the Illustraotor application, however, we understand that it will remain a stand-alone product as it adopts these new robust features
