I have now had my iMac for a week and the distant memory of IRQ hassles and W98 crashes are almost a distant memory. This is what computing should be about!

I hear ya! In January I switched from WindowsNT to an iMac - I do mostly Java development so there were a lot of people that said I was crazy to switch to a Mac but I've loved it! I even run a java web server to run my web site, it all works wonderfully and I'm much happier than I was with my Windows system.
