Help me! As for some reason, almost all of my applications take 1-2 minutes to startup! I zapped my PRAM, rebuilded the desktop, I defragment every week! And Norton AntiVirus says I have no virii! Conflict Catcher doesn't find an extension conflict.... And the funny thing is: Deus Ex (wich uses 200 megabytes RAM!) starts up in no time!!!

I'm desperate!!!! HELP ME!!

This is probably not the problem, but have you allocated more memory to the applications that are giving you a hard time?

worse comes to worse, you could consider doing a clean install of the OS... maybe it's about time?
