I just switched to Mac from Wintel and was wondering if anyone knows of a web based front end for creating and maintaining SQL Server 2k DB's (I currently use Enterprise Manager on a PC). When I used to play with Red Hat there was a web app called WebMin that allowed you to create and modify MySql DB's as well as other Appache stuff. Is there any thing like this for IIS5 and SQL Server?
Thanks for any info,

I use Terminal Services. If you have Win2K server, then you have Terminal Services (you may have to install it). Download RDC from www.microsoft.com/mac and you can connect to the server and run any programs you want (MMC for configuring IIS, Enterprise Manager, etc). It's like VNC or PC Anywhere, but it is extremely fast.
It is free, so don't worry about that part of it.
There are some tools for maintaining an MSSQL Server, but I've found them all to be inadequate.

Thanks for the idea, but I don't think my host would allow me to terminal server in to their box (maybe they would?). I was hoping to find a component to install on my site that would allow me to connect to it.
Thanks again, I didn't even know there was a terminal server for Mac!

I'm sure such products exist, but I think you could get much better results asking in a Windows-centric forum. You might get lucky here and get an answer, but the number of people here who do SQL development on Windows is likely very small.

I don't know how much this will let you do in terms of SQL admin (user accounts, etc.), but it works for the databases (query analizer, viewing tables, etc.).
