Since this is more of a marketplace ad, I will at least ask the question:

What is the professional software on the PC that has caused you to switch back?

You bought a 3000+ $ computer, and switched platforms, to do ONE thing?

What the hell program is it that's on the PC? Maybe *I* will need to switch after hearing about it!

Hasn't anyone noticed that DJMike hasn't ansewered anyone's question as to what PC editing software that is so good that it's making him sell his brand new Apple Macintosh to switch back to a piece of crap (PC)? Seems like DJMike is "B"-essing everyone. I agree, I think he's dumping it because he thinks Apple may release the 15.4" with a 970 processor on Monday at WWDC.

Unbelievable you sell your 17"PB.

Specialy if you know that FCP can handle ALL type of video-formats. A pc handles only the specific formats, like DV or SDI or HD.
For creating DVD's Apple uses the standard format, which is DVD-R. Most pc's use the +R version.
And take notice that Apple is far ahead with the new MPEG-4 software. Bill G. is just making a copy of it.
Reasons enough to stick to the Mac.

I won't stop you going back, but my research in all posibilities, leads to one conclusion:
Apple creates a basic, from where many other plug-in's can be used.
For the pc, all software is dedicated to one purpose.

Make up you mind and be sure.

Don't believe what you see.
See it and Believe it.

When I was in PC world that Sonic Foundry software was getting quite a few compliments. However I see no logic in buying a Mac computer just because you had crappy PC video software...oops...that's what caused me to buy a Mac.
