Everytime a page loads, "Tina" merrily chimes in...every...damn...TIME!!!
Doesn't somebody there preview these ads and give approval? I'd love to know who gave this their stamp of approval

that's not how the ads work. there is a pool of ads that keeps being added to (not by us).
we have to block them as they appear.
this one is really really annoying. nothing against tina, of course. i'm sure she's very nice.
we'll be rid of it soon.

I haven't read the forum for a while, and the damn talking ads freaked me out. Glad to hear they're on their way out, I'd definitely skip visiting MacNN if the talking ads stayed.

Thank God (and you  ). I was about to take this site off my list, and I visit several times a day--have been for two years. But that was really obnoxious. I was listening to some tunes, no radios on, and all of a sudden some precocious "Tina" is talking to me about speeding up my PC. I don't even own a PC!
