So I've got a quick question regarding Airport Express, specifically Airtunes. I have my iMac connected via ethernet to my DLink wireless router and the Airport Express setup as a client. I was mistakenly under the impression that I needed the iMac to be connected via airport for Airtunes to work properly. Low and behold, after reading up on the web, I decided to remove the airport card and try it via ethernet and it works. In my case, I don't need the airport card at all correct? The reason I ask is because I just bought the airport card last week at the apple store and if I don't need it, I can save myself 79 bucks. Thanks for any info.
Regards,
Dave

Correct, you don't need Airport for Express to function properly. Think of WIFI as a wireless form of Ethernet. You have your Mac connected to the router through ethernet and Express connected to the router wirelessly. Since both devices are using the same router, it matters not whether the Mac is connected wired or wirelessly.
