Don't 9 and 42 conflict?
What the nerd community most often fail to realize is that all features aren't equal. A well implemented and well integrated feature in a convenient interface is worth way more than the same feature implemented crappy, or accessed through a annoying interface.

We should all laugh more - just as long as it's not a maniacal Jeff Bezos kind of laugh.
People who laugh like that should just quiet down, or go away.

Not true for Iberian spanish (from Spain). While the verb is 'colgar', the imperative mood is 'cuélgate'. Cólgate is indeed the right form for galician and I wonder if it would be for the spanish speaking Central and South American countries.

Yes, some countries like Argentina, Chile and Uruguay might say "colgate", not "cólgate".

Lemme check my birds for this. I don't think it is true, either.

26 and 40 are wrong.

26: It's spelled "googol," not "google." Googolplex is the number, followed by a googol of zeros. 10^10^100

40: Chameleons have 360 degree vision without moving their heads.

10 and 49 are wrong.
The sound is not your blood it is the sound of the air moving in the shell, amplified by the shape of the shell.

there is NO language of statues.

shaping up to be a pretty good list I'd say.

No 6 is false as well. SOS was introduced in 1906. Titanic sank in 1912. It is unlikely that no SOS signals were sent during the intervening 6 years. In fact Titanic sent CQD as well as SOS.

If I recall correctly Peruvians don't have an accent similar to Argentineans. For instance, other Spanish speakers say "móntate" while Argentineans, Chileans and Uruguayans might say "montate".

#2 is crap too. If you're feeling thirsty, you're dehydrated. The best way to take fluids is regularly and in sufficient quantity that you never feel thirsty.

Nice list, although from an economic view 28 is wrong. 7 million to make it - add inflation and in terms of when Titanic is made it will be a lot more.

According to one inflation calculator, $7 million in 2007 dollars is $148 million.

Beaker just blinked for me and her upper eyelid clearly moved down. The lower might have moved up to meet it in the middle, but that's not what number 15 says. In other words, it is wrong.

Oh and 250,000 people die everyday. Just google "How many people die in one day?" knock on wood.

I really hate these lists of "factoids", so many lies being spread.

The spots are on the skin, not the fur. As it matures, the hair will color.

But they appear as though they are pure white! Tricky one.
