Hello,

My trackpad suddenly seems to be going awol, clicking by itself and hard to control. But not always, usually after 10 mins or so. I have got a mouse and turned the pad off, and all seems to work ok, though there is a sligh lag. I dont know if this is the dodgy mouse though.

I have taken the trackpad out and it appears to be undamaged. I was considering just buying a new trackpad and throwing that in there, but i dont want to do that if there is a chacne that the problem ISNT with the trackpad, but something deeper.

Is there anyway of finding out (by myself) where the root of the problem is.

Cheers

What year MacBook Pro?

Not sure if you'd get more traffic in Mac Notebooks, unless it's really old.
