Didn't someone around here say that John T likes to give BJs, and even has an understanding with his wife about that?

Oh well, to each their own.

seems like a lotta poop for a newborn.

plus, usually the first few poops of a newborn is either the tarry meconium stool, or more of liquidy, soft, yellow-green runny substance.

Judging by the date, that might just be among its first solidified loads.

There is no way that can be their kid's poop... it would just be a bronzed watery mess. I have had a few kids and poop doesn't look like that until they are least a year or two old.

Where is the link to the auction or to the article?

That's only because you deprived your children of the proper upbringing they deserve and that can only be learned from the teachings of the great L. Ron Hubbard.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but poop in a diaper doesn't stay in 'log' form, right? So could they tell when he was going to poop, and held him in the air?

I'd be more impressed if the kid shat the entire thing -- plaque and all. In bronze. That'd be newsworthy.

Relax folks, It's probably a bit of dog poop which Tom picked up while he was out and about.

He was thinking to himself "If only I could find a way to convince all those people out there in movie land that Suri exists, they'll stop going on about closets and things. Then I can go grab some closet time with JT in peace" when he happened across the dog poop and hatched a cunning plan.

I'm hoping that it's all just some elaborate stool-producing conspiracy, and it's not actually true that Tom Cruise has spawned offspring...

P.S. How does bronzing work? It is just made from a cast, or would that thing actually be full of sh!t?

It's either dipped in bronze or sprayed in bronze. I mean, how could you make a cast of sh!t, it would just get squished.

He wants it platinum & diamond encrusted, so he can mount it on the hood of his Escalade.

This thread is probably the closest we'll ever get to a literal manifestation of that expression about polishing turds.

Just spray it with something that hardens on the surface, and then make a cast. Easy enough. I mean it's not as if it'd be easier to dip raw untreated sh!t in molten bronze either.

Seems less unpleasant than having a sh!t filled bronze container on your bookshelf, although either way it's still unpleasant, not only because it still looks like sh!t, but also because it's sh!t from a Cruise.

So they're getting it bronzed. Will it also be dipped in guacamole?

So it turns out it may not be a real bronzed version of Suri Cruise's poop.

It's a 'sculpture' done by Daniel Edwards as a "tribute to Tom Cruise's and Katie Holmes' daughter".

Actually, now I appreciate this piece of 'art' in a way:

A spokesman said: "It's partially a statement on modern media that 'celebrity poop' has more entertainment value than health, famine or other critical issues facing society and governments today.

"Also, it is a statement on the absurdity of the media coverage surrounding Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' new baby, Suri Cruise, which has reached stellar proportions and is eclipsing far more notable events with more substance."

True dat.

P.S. It will also be available in plaster replicas, if you don't want to bid (tens of) thousands on bronze poop.

Oh and beware, the seller, David Kesting, only has 91.7% positive feedbacks.
