Samsung has created a microSD card with a capacity of 256GB. The EVO Plus 256GB uses V-NAND technology for read and write speeds of 95MB/s and 90MB/s respectively, which Samsung claims is capable of holding up to 12 hours of 4K video or 33 hours of 1080p footage. Samsung is shipping the UHS-1, Class 10 (U3) memory card in 50 countries from next month, priced at $250.
It's impressive how much they're packing into such a tiny package. According to Wikipedia, the max microSD speed is 104 MB/s, so they're pushing the interface speed limit too.
