MacNN | Apple sued over iPod storage capacity

Not a single computer manufacturer or hard drive manufacturer does this differently.

Why Apple?

'cuz they're high-profile.

Sweet Jesus! How are there still any lawyers left who will take this case to court? What in the hell is happening? Something seriously needs to be done about these kinds of cases. I think if you bring a frivolous lawsuit to court and you lose, you should have to serve some hard time. This is just bullsh!t.

Go to the article linked in the MacNN report and read the comments over there. Some of those people are totally clueless. BTW, I'm "Jim" in those comments. Come on over and have some fun!

I can barely handle comments from blog sites like Gizmodo and Engadget, no way I'm walking into that hole.

Indeed. It's one thing for one stupid person to file a frivolous law suit. It's quite another when you have people arguing that his law suit has merit and that he "has a point".

Apple never said there would be 8GB of "free" space.
