Both actually. I would have posted more, but I had to check out of my hotel. Some random art (most important part) + something that can be easily reproduced.
To me, the only ridiculous part is pretending it's something else. If someone is up-front about it having value only because they want it to, they can and should knock themselves out. That's basically patronage of the arts, and I'm all for it.
Modern art is only considered art by a relatively small handful of people, while classic art (the kind that takes years to even learn, much less become a master) is recognized by almost everyone.
