How has no-one managed to hack or leak a copy yet? It can't be that difficult to get hold of if two thirds of the country hate him.
I have plenty of more important things to do, if only I could bring myself to do them....

Foxs reconstruction under the Murdoch boys is interesting. Got to wonder what dirt Bill Shine has to still have a job

What a shame.

It seems a lot of prominent right-wing voices are experiencing issues just recently. Tomi Lahren, Bill, that other scumbag at Fox that likes to grab all the ladies, Alex Jones setting his "credibility" on fire in his custody battle.

Sad times.

Never much cared for him. Infact, I'm not all that much into that form of infotainment - I like to draw my own conclusions as best I can as opposed to listening to someone else draw them for me.

When it comes to the four ass-clowns of the apocalypse (Bill, Ann, Sean, and Rush), I consider him the least ass-clown.

Here is my favorite reminisce.

He was interviewing Joycelin Elders. Former Surgeon General who lost her job over fapgate.

In her new book, she had made the comment "one instance of of abuse does not a pedophile make".

Bill completely flipped his shit at her. How could anyone defend pedophiles like that?

After he spent a minute ranting, she says "I was referring to the cycle of pedophilia. Pedophiles are often sexually abused as children, but getting abused once does not necessarily turn someone into a pedophile."

Bill's eyes get really big, as you see him imagining the switch he's going to take to some intern's bottom... and then decides to go down with the ship. Doesn't give reality an inch for the entire segment.

Has Chaffetz not running for reelection been mentioned? Now he says he might not finish his term. Realistically he probably knows he's unpopular and bound to face a tough primary if not reelection. Cynically I don't think he wants to be in oversight if any Trump stuff goes down.

Politicians usually hide with "I want to spend more time with family".

"I want to enter the private sector" is more along the lines of "I'm perfectly positioned to rape the system, and no way I'm turning that opportunity down".

I get what you're saying, but I think the more important question is which other Republican can I count on to be a party animal? I have Clinton and Diamond Joe on the invite list. Without another Republican, Boehner's going to feel left out.

TAPPER: Did you ever witness or experience, God forbid, anything like that at Fox?

PALIN: I wouldn't put up with anything that would be perceived as intimidating or harassing.

TAPPER: But you said you're “former,” so was that part of the reason you left?

PALIN: Um, you can ask them why I'm no longer at Fox. You know, I'm not going to speak for them. My contract wasn't renewed — that is, um, that's the line.

TAPPER: I don't want to be a jerk, but it sounds like you experienced something.

PALIN: Um, I just, you know, it was just time to part ways and get out there in, you know, I guess a more diverse arena to express views and speak for the public, and that's what I've been able to do now.

TAPPER: All right, well, I'm not going to push any farther on that.
Jesus.

Once fully implemented, the program is expected to cost the state $11 million a year, paid for through lottery proceeds. If the bill becomes law, both full and part-time students would be eligible to participate as early as fall 2018.

Just a note.

The Illinois Lottery "pays for education".

The way that works is if the Lottery makes $X, then $X gets appropriated from the education budget and put into the general fund.

It's paid by the Idiot Tax levied against those who are too ignorant to understand probability (stupid people pay to educate the rest of society). It's as ironic as funding healthcare w/ tobacco and alcohol taxes.

Indeed.

Also using lottery funding to directly fund education? Seems to me this engenders the idea that funding on education is in some way second class, non critical funding. Health and education funding should come from core funding sources. Maybe arts and other funding is more usefully funded by lottery money.

There was the March for Science this weekend. Great. I love science.

Judging by the signs however, science has discovered the antidote to dank.

Does anyone follow the French election? Seems to be Macron vs. Le Pen in round two, and the entire world outside Russia draws a sigh of relief that it isn't Melenchon vs. Le Pen.

The Socialists/far Left in France are on notice, I see. Personally, I think Le Pen will take it, and if that happens the EU is likely going to be toast.

The Socialists are on notice, yes. Hollande is unpopular, but their candidate only gaining 6% is a disaster, even if it can be explained to some extent by the run to Macron once it became clear that Hamon didn't have a chance. The far left, on the other hand, did their best election ever (their candidate was Melenchon) and are probably quite happy. The Republicans also missed the second round for what I think is the first time ever (the Socialists missed once before, when Jospin came in third behind Chirac and Jean-Marie Le Pen in 2002), in an election they probably thought they couldn't lose. All in all, voters rejected the established parties for something new.

Le Pen is some 25 points behind Macron in the runoff polling right now. I would have given her a real chance against Melenchon, but not against Macron.

Also note that the president of France is nothing like POTUS. Le Pen can't take France out of the EU without a parliamentary majority, and since she is more popular than her party, got less than 25% of the votes and absolutely nobody else will support that idea, it won't happen. Which is why it is safe to say.

Btw: Macron, if elected, continues the recent trend of somewhat interesting marital situations for French presidents. He met his wife while she was his teacher and mother of one of his class mates.

Let me clarify. I wasn't talking about immediate withdrawal, but I do believe that it's an eventual outcome. France is sick of migrants and the rising crime they bring, as well as the medieval ideals fostered by the Muslim majority. Within 5 years all of Europe will be in open revolt against Islam.

Yeah, his taste in partners is... interesting. As long as they're happy, though, more power to them.

Edit: Oh, and I'm very suspicious of any polls right now, and every Left wing riot only builds a larger base for Le Pen. I think it'll be down to the wire.
