and yet another issue.. I have date/time system preferences set to "set date/time automatically" and my time zone set to EST, applied changes checked the time, and no luck. At first I thought maybe my internet connection was down, but I could successfully navigate to any thread in maccn forums. I quit system preferences, and went back into it and date/time but the changes I had just made were not savings.

Restarted, and no luck.

Any ideas?

Compared the system time with those on my radio-controlled watch and the cellphone, they are all in sync.
So it's not Leopard's fault.

Kar98 >> Do you have any suggestions as to what might be causing this problem, and anything I can try to resolve it?

At this point I am administering all the Macs in our company, half of which Iive already bumped up to 10.5, so I am aware that not all Macs are experiencing this problem. I do however know that just b/c something works flawlessly on my own Mac, it doesn't mean someone else with the exact same machine/specs as mine won't have problems as well.

I did the 10.5.1 update, still had the same problem. I ended up reformatting entirely, resinatlling all the same software I had before, and now my time is correct. Still makes no sense, but it works for now.
