Is there any kind of internet port lookup tool for Mac? I have one for Windows which is very handy, so I wanted one for Mac.

if you mean open ports on your mac, you have one.
Spotlight "Network Utility" or go to Applications / Utilities /

That is what I mean. The little tool I have for Windows is just a small application to display specialized data from a text file, but it works very well, and I would like to have something similar for Macintosh.

You don't need an application for this.
grep <portnumber> /etc/services
in your terminal and call it a day.
