Question if anyone knows -
I got a 7200, bought some 2 sticks of 32mb EDO 5 volt, they seem to work fine.
I wanna get 4 sticks of 64 from Star Components.com (they have sticks of 2k Refresh, 60ns 5volt 64 Dimms for $18.00). According to MacGurus.com 5v/EDO Dimms can leave the Motherboard Unworkable, but according to Apple's website, it takes either.
Everymac.com says 5 volt EDO's and 3.3 Volt FPM's are acceptable.
I'm gonna buy some anyway (from star components) just wondering if anyone actually tried 5volt EDO 64 meg Dimms in a 7200.
I'm not pating the Rediculous Prices that Macgurus charges for ANYTHING!

A 7200 should be able to use either FPM or EDO at 5voltsonly, not 3.3.
I have 704 MB of interleaved 60ns EDO in my old 8500, working fine on OS 9.1.
4-128's and 2-64's and 2-32's.
Got the 128's a couple of weeks ago at Velocity Upgrades for 26.99 ea.
