It's meant mainly as a tool for selective persecution. Your banning me is a bogus use of this tool in order to practice censorship. Everyone knows what you did OC. You are despicable and when Demonhood recognizes this is your little game. You will be finished as a mod.

I think admins need to take back the ban power they gave out. The experiment failed.

Those reporting marden for rule 8 violations need to grow up. Seriously.

I'm not saying marden deserves everyone he got, but a violation is a violation, whether you believe in the rule or not.

I think maybe a mod should have to go through some extra steps before being able to "ban on a whim"

I think personal attacks and ACTUAL obnoxiousness should get you banned.

Not "I don't like the way you post"

The latter seems petty and is only used to "shut up" people.

You aren't complaining about unfair treatment from the mods, are you? Seems to me OreaCookie wasn't the only P/L mod upset with Abe's behavior, even one you feel to be "fair".

I think almost every mention of OreoCookie by Abe amounts to a personal attack.

in general, rule 8 applies to the topic starting post (or posts for those that cut it due to length).
we don't really need another thread about this topic.
