I was browsing my university's website...and came across this



does apple own the rights to that little thing? UT is a major university, surely they just didnt copy apple's icon

- circle
- square
- rectangle
- triangle

Also, any variation of "line" and/or "curved"

Considering that UT has enough oil under its West Texas land grants that they could BUY Apple, I don't think it's a real problem.

Now there might be an issue with a software implementation that darkened various curved, concentric lines in response to WiFi signal quality, but UT ain't doing that. They ARE capitalizing on the common notice of that icon-it's iconic, after all-but not much more.

well...when i'm connected to the network in the building i have most of my classes in it only has the "thing" at the bottom and sometimes one curved line, so it doesnt look like it then anyway
