Let me clarify the statement. Current black MacBooks that run the Core 2 Duo cpu is 64bit. older (first gen) macbooks use the Core Duo cpu which is only 32bit.

Ok, because I cannot find any definitve answer .. (never had intel cpus to be honest) ... I read basically two statements, the T7200 is 32Bit and another was that it is 64 Bit ....

So I guess I can assume I have a 64 Bit MacBook and can actually install the 64 Bit version of Server 2003 in VMWare which would be brilliant (need to run some tests)

Only VMware Fusion takes full advantage of 64-bit and multi-core processors of your Mac for maximum flexibility. You can run 64-bit operating systems such as Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit Edition or leverage Virtual SMP to create and run multi-processor virtual machines.

Def... example : I just installed Server 2003 R2 Enterprise Edition 64 Bit on my MacBook (black) and installed an SQL 2005 Cluster (64 Bit) to see if it is REALLY 64 Bit And yes ... Vmware works REALLY fine with it

Damn, I am such an Intel n00b - if I would have know that before (that it is 64 Bit that is - and yes .. I feel really stupid)
