My wireless mighty mouse is not working rightly when I move it say over 2 feets from my macbook. Its been about 5 months since with the original battery. But is this could be with the low going batteries. What is the normal operating range of the mighty mouse BTW?
I faced the problem when I sit on the floor cross-legged, with MB on the floor in front and mouse on my right, so my right thigh comes in between the mac and mighty. Before it wasn't like that.
My mighty did fell on the floor 2-3 times (but not badly), no loose part inside.

Not trying to be a dick, but check what forum you're in.
But no, a thigh shouldn't interfere with the mighty mouse's signal. Don't know what the problem is.

If you still have the origional batteries in there it is time to replace them.
