I just logged in to my account and there it was! I kinda like it, it's very similar to mail.app - what are your opinions?

Doesn't seem to work correctly with Firefox 2.0 (haven't tried 1.x).
The interface shows up, but selecting a message to view gives a "failed to load" error.
Edit: Actually, it doesn't work with the BonEcho Intel-optimized build of FF 2.0. Works with the generic Universal official FF 2.0 build. Guess the BonEcho build gives a different browser identifier code. Hmmm.

I like. It is a lot faster. The functional similarity to Mail is well done. The Address book is sweet!
Only down side: What happened to the junk mail filter?
I had no problems with Firefox 2 or Safari.

The old webmail didn't have filtering either so I'm not missing that too much. I love the new interface but I do wish they hadn't gotten rid of the "Save Copy" option when sending a file. I know you can delete stuff after you've sent it, but it was kinda handy being able to forward off photos and stuff without having to actually have it saved in your mailbox.
Great work, nonetheless.

Yeah, I like it too. Much faster and the contact search feature is very convenient but I'm disappointed that there is no junk filter along with all these new features especially since junk mail and spam are the biggest headaches.

I like it....the preview with the first few lines of text from the email in the Subject is great too...would look great in mail.app as well!
Didn't look at the address book until reading Sherman Homan's posting above...wow!!!! The card view is wicked!

The "Junk Mail" thing is very peculiar...especially since the screenshot on the .Mac site specifically shows the "Junk" folder as shown below...

You click the "Empty" to empty the trash, etc. It doesn't mean that the mailbox itself is empty.

The Junk mail folder is the folder that is created by Mail when you choose to store your junk mail on the server and have automatic junk mail filtering turned on. Junk mail filtering is done by Mail, not the server. So, when you're using .Mac webmail, you won't get junk mail filtering (unless you have Mail running on a Mac somewhere).

So this will only show up if you have .Mac e-mail running as IMAP within Mail, correct? Not POP? Thanks for the explanation.

I like it too. I think the Address book is only partly done. For instance, why not have the contacts scroll in a frame the way the preview pane does in the mail part.
Create a new folder called "Junk" and see what happens.

Yeah. When I turned on the server side Junk folder in Mail, it then appeared in .Mac webmail. When I turned it back off, it was gone again.
Glad you understood it. Wasn't sure if I was conveying it clearly.
